Offering a unique insight into the people behind ‘The Shows’ in Scotland. The project is run by MIMAC-Rushes C.I.C in partnership with the Scottish Screen Archive and the Glasgow Film Theatre.
MiMAC-Rushes was registered as a CIC in Scotland on the 8th of January 2008, Registration No.SC335908

C.I.C. = Community interest Companies

Community interest companies (CIC) are a new type of limited company with special additional features, designed specifically to operate for the benefit of the community rather than for the benefit of the owners of the company. This is achieved by a "community interest test" and "asset lock", which ensure that the CIC is established for community purposes and the assets and profits are dedicated to these purposes.
"CIC’s are an integral part of the govt’s new Third Sector" Quote: the Cabinet Office
